Jobseekers will now get more scannable, evidence-backed cover letters for senior and complex roles. When the job and your supplied evidence support it, the generator can produce standalone thematic sections (headings plus supporting prose) so hiring managers can scan key themes quickly while the letter still reads as a conventional application; those headings are preserved in the editor and in exported PDFs. You can generate a letter as before, review or edit the section headings in the cover-letter workspace, and export a PDF that reflects the same structure you see in the editor.
Under the hood changes improve how those sectioned letters are produced and formatted: the planner creates evidence-backed section plans for complex roles; writer and editor guidance preserves sectioned prose while still rejecting bullets, Markdown markers, placeholders, and unsupported claims; deterministic heading detection renders valid thematic headings as editor level-3 headings without misclassifying dates, recipient lines, company names, signoffs, or ordinary paragraphs; and paragraph spacing was tightened so body breaks don’t become extra empty editor paragraphs or create extra PDF gaps. We also added prompt and quality guardrails to avoid turning application letters into next-step, pilot, or consulting proposals so generated output remains focused on job applications.
This release includes visible workspace and PDF updates—before/after screenshots for both the workspace and the exported PDF are attached to the release evidence. You should review generated headings in the workspace and the PDF preview as part of your normal edit flow; if you prefer a shorter single-page letter, keep the content concise during editing.
Known follow-up work includes validating that generated section headings remain appropriately generic and evidence-backed across roles beyond the validation job and updating release evidence if tighter spacing changes materially affect the saved artifacts.

How to use it: generate a cover letter for a senior or complex role as usual; if the system finds supporting evidence it will propose thematic headings—review and edit those headings in the cover-letter workspace, then export the PDF and confirm the structure in the preview. The editor still forbids bullets and Markdown heading markers, and generated headings will persist through export.
