Improve job workspace navigation

Job workspace navigation is clearer now: the original job description is part of the tab flow, readiness is placed beside the job title for faster scanning, and essential requirements are no longer hidden under supporting skills. This matters because it keeps the information you need (role, company, source, and the full description) available while guiding you to the next missing step in your application; you can trust that clicking a saved job still opens the workspace (landing on Review for saved jobs), that the Job Description tab uses the canonical /job-description URL, and that readiness and skill priorities reflect essential requirements correctly.

What changed for you in practice

• Job Description is now the first workspace tab at the canonical /job-description URL while Review remains the landing tab for saved jobs, so the job description stays visible inside the tabbed flow. The old /description route redirects to /job-description.
• Readiness is simplified and moved beside the job title for easier scanning (reviewed / total skill copy is visible under the title). Tabs are visually guided: Review receives the active shine while priority skills still need review, then Resume, Cover letter, and Interview receive the guide as each becomes the next missing step.
• The job workspace header is cleaner: the Active job label and the View full description button were removed, and the destructive action is relabeled Archive job and placed after the Interview tab in the workspace controls.
• Saved job cards now indicate they open the job workspace and use a pointer cursor; clicking a saved job still lands on Review and the Archive job control opens its confirmation without navigating away.
• The Interview workspace no longer shows redundant metadata such as Interview prep ready and Generated .
• Across product and admin intro surfaces, the shared subtitle (.app-sub) max-width has been widened; several representative pages are constrained by their panel layouts in the captured views and therefore show no visible change in those screenshots (these captures were operational/intro-surface adjustments rather than workflow UI changes).
• Competence priority normalization: essential-category items are no longer stored, grouped, or weighted as supporting skills, so essential requirements are less likely to be overlooked when tailoring materials.

What to expect and where to look

• Click a saved job card to open the workspace; Review should be the initial landing tab for saved jobs while Job Description is available as the first tab with a canonical /job-description URL.
• Look to the title area for the readiness summary (reviewed/total) and watch the tab shine to see which workspace the product recommends you tackle next.
• If you previously relied on the Interview workspace metadata, note that those specific date/ready fields were removed.

Evidence and scope

• This release includes visible tab and workspace updates (before/after screenshots were captured for job and workspace pages). Some admin/intro surfaces were affected only by the subtitle width adjustment and appear unchanged in their captured views due to layout constraints.
