What changed and why it matters
- About page copy has been expanded and clarified so jobseekers can quickly understand how JobsLobster helps avoid rewriting the same resume for each role — read the updated About page to learn how the product approaches role-specific tailoring and human review.
- Mobile store listings (iOS App Store and Google Play) have been aligned with the website tone and now avoid unsupported hiring-outcome or ATS-pass claims — that means the store descriptions you see will match the restrained, evidence-focused site copy. Trust the listings to reflect the product accurately.
- A gated release-blog auto-publish path was added so reviewed releases that explicitly opt in can publish automatically; publish gates and dry-run checks are in place so readers only see posts that pass the review criteria.
- Public footer copy was adjusted (now renders “© JobsLobster 2026. All rights reserved.”) and Google Chat release-summary formatting was improved for clearer notifications.
Details
The About page now contains multiple content paragraphs explaining the product focus (role-specific applications, tailored resumes, evidence, and human review) and includes a brief provenance note. Desktop and mobile screenshots were captured to confirm the updated copy and mobile layout remain readable.
Store and release automation changes are focused on consistent public-facing copy and safer publishing workflows. iOS and Android listing text was rewritten to match the site tone and remove unsupported outcome claims. Automation was added so metadata and listings can be updated from the release process while retaining review gates.
The release-blog generator gained a gated auto-publish option; dry-run evidence shows the generator would publish when the release opts in and no blocking gaps are present. A service-token publish endpoint and a tested Google Chat summary formatter were also added to make publish notifications clearer and machine-friendly.
If you don’t see changes immediately, the production About-page backfill or the next deploy may be required to make the updates live; app-store uploads will use the new metadata automation when releases are prepared for submission.
What to look for:
- Visit /about to read the expanded explanation of how JobsLobster reduces repeated resume rewrites.
- Check the iOS App Store and Google Play listings for wording that matches the site.
- And expect future release posts to publish automatically only when a release explicitly opts in and passes the review gates.
